Because I’m a mother myself, I know, ‘the days are long but the years are short’. As your family grows, all the crazy and precious milestones fly by in the blink of an eye.
Therefore, it’s invaluable to freeze time with natural and genuine family photography that you can treasure forever. So, this is where I can help as a Godalming and Guildford family photographer!
Family Photo Session
My photo shoots are relaxed and chilled, so the whole family will have fun. But, no family is too loud or chaotic for me. I have little ones myself and my down-to-earth and friendly approach means I’m comfortable engaging with energetic or shy children. I love capturing genuine moments between you and your family.
As a Godalming and Guildford Family Photographer, my focus is on capturing natural photos of you interacting as a family. Additionally, I include a few lightly posed family portraits.
Don't forget to bring ...
- Anything you usually take on a family walk (nappies and wipes for little ones)
- Drinks and Snacks for the children (bribery!)
- Comfortable footwear
FAQs – Family photography
Which locations are best for family photos?
You might have a specific request or I can make suggestions. But I know lots of locations for lovely Guildford and Godalming family photos. Also, nearby Surrey destinations such as Farnham, Haslemere or Cranleigh might be what you’re after. So in short, we will find a location that works for you!
Do you photograph extended families?
Standard family sessions are only for immediate family members (up to 5). You may like to include a few households, or perhaps gift a shoot to the Grandparents. If there are more than 9 people, there may be an additional charge.
Do you require a deposit?
In order to secure your session date and time, I ask for a non-refundable £100 deposit. The remainder of the package is due on the day. Eg. For a standard shoot, you pay £100 when you book and the remaining £275 on the day of the session.
What happens if it rains?
Because the forecasts aren’t always reliable, we will make a decision an hour before the session time. So, if it’s raining, we will reschedule. But don’t stress, you definitely don’t need sunshine to capture beautiful family photos.
